Summary

What starts as a conversation about Missouri float trips quickly spirals into absolute Rizz Show nonsense. The gang debates the best rivers to float, tells stories about cliff jumping, beer helmets, and questionable rafting decisions before taking a hard left into one of the weirdest mornings we've had in a while.

Then...the studio fire alarm goes off.

In real time, the crew debates whether to abandon the building, compares themselves to the captain of the Costa Concordia, questions maritime law, and somehow turns an emergency evacuation into comedy. Fortunately, everyone survives the "catastrophe" and returns to the studio with nothing more than bruised egos and a fresh appreciation for construction dust.

As if that wasn't enough, Learn celebrates National Hot Dog Day with Steve's Hot Dogs, the crew argues about the proper way to eat a hot dog without looking ridiculous, and everyone collectively decides the word "glizzy" deserves to disappear forever.

Missouri news keeps the chaos rolling as the crew debates higher interstate speed limits, gets completely lost trying to figure out daylight saving time, celebrates Lion's Choice landing on USA Today's best regional fast food list, and somehow manages to make basic legislation sound impossibly confusing.

Meanwhile, Moon discovers an actual beetle inside a bag of coffee, decides to brew it anyway, and accidentally sends everyone into a discussion about FDA limits on insect parts in food that absolutely nobody asked for but everyone somehow needed.

Add in bizarre lawsuits, White Castle stories, documentaries, celebrity tangents, weird news, listener emails, and the usual sarcastic back-and-forth, and you've got another completely normal day...by Rizz Show standards.

If you came looking for expert life advice, you're in the wrong place. If you came looking for a daily comedy podcast filled with hilarious stories, pop culture commentary, Missouri weirdness, and friends making each other laugh until everything falls apart, welcome home.

The daily comedy podcast from St. Louis that proves every normal conversation can become complete chaos in under thirty seconds.

All right, St. Louis, real talk. After those storms last year, my roof was a disaster, and I didn't want the headache.

So I called the Happy Roof Company, and I couldn't be happier. Because, yeah, a roof job is loud, it's chaotic, and they were on it.

0:12.9

They didn't just drop off a crew and disappear. Communication was tight the whole way. And the biggest thing, they helped me handle all the insurance company stuff. That alone

saved me a ton of time and a ton of frustration. Now the roof looks gorgeous, clean lines,

and prey repair. And they back shingle roofs with a 10-year labor warranty.

If you've got storm damage, leaks, or an older roof, make Happy Roof Company your first call.

Tell them you heard about it on the rich show.

Whoa, guys.

1:08.4

Hey, man, you couldn't have pushed the show back 60 seconds?

1:10.8

We were having a very Missouri conversation. I'm sorry. St. Louis needs to wake up. Oh, I'm sorry. It was a Missouri conversation if I've ever heard about floating? Yeah, the Missouri pastime of what you're floating? Can I only got on two flow trips. Oh, God, you need to go again. I was seeing that yesterday. Should we all do one? I'm a river rat, dude.

I go at least once a summer.

1:29.7

You have to.

I used to go a lot more whenever I was in my youth. I did the Black River and I did the Hoosah. That's great. Outstanding stuff. Listen, both times I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I got a couple of friends right now trying to get me out on the current river.

1:46.6

Yeah, the current is my favorite.

1:47.5

It's a great one. Current river.
