Summary
Mississippi State will host South Alabama in the first meeting between the two teams since the 2017 NCAA regional at Southern Miss. The Bulldogs will start southpaw Jack Eagan on the mound.
On the football front, things are beginning to come into focus as some position battles are taking shape.
