Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the Humday edition of the yard a little later than I expected.

I had a great plan today, but we had some people out here working at the house, and so I wanted to get all that stuff done before I recorded.

While they worked, I was working on the 1981 College World Series chapter of the new book.

Got that finished, roughing that up.

We'll do some edits here, and then I'll send that in.

It'll go back to the editorial process, and then they'll spit it back out to me.

We'll get that finished.

And so here's where we are.

And a lot of you guys are, you know, eager to pre-order. The book will be available to pre-order

once it's pushed off to print. That'll be a few weeks. But I've got one chapter left to rough

out. And when I say rough it out, I write them and I write them as perfectly as I can. And then

it goes to, you know, grammatical edits and content edits.

And sometimes there's rewrites, that sort of stuff.

And so that process will wrap up this month.

But I got one chapter left after today, just one.

And that's going to be about the Alan McKean era at Mississippi State.
