The Bulldogs are seeing solid efforts in baseball along with men's and women's basketball.

And isn't it wonderful that we live in a country? We can celebrate Maroon Friday as we choose. It's wonderful. In a matter of fact,

we celebrated our nation's independence from English tyranny and the wonderful things that go

along with all that and not going to get political or anything like that. But I will say I'm

very blessed, very privileged to have been born an

American and that is not something that I ever take for granted and I hope that

you were of the same cloth and hope that wherever you are today that you are

happy to be free and before I get too caught up in a show, I've talked about this before,

but I want to make sure it's important that we always remember this.

We have a couple of holidays each year,

where we kind of tip the cap to the men and women of our armed forces and their families.

Allow me this time right now to say,

I am unbelievably grateful to the United States military,

the families that support them.

They are doing a job that I did not want to do and one that we often take for granted.

And many of them around the world were not able to celebrate with their families yesterday.

And I know that there are some Boneyard listeners.

I get messages from time and time from our service people.

And they share with me how much they enjoy these Mississippi State-related podcasts that we have,
