And speaking of the egg bowl, that's my probably my favorite game of any game.

And it doesn't get the publicity of like the Iron Bowl.

Yeah. It's like the red-headed stepchild of the Iron Bowl.

But it's like drunker, it's crazier, it's wild, they play on a holiday, it's weird, it's wacky, there's braws, there's fights, there's this, there's that.

Do you have, in your years covering that thing, any stand Any standout stories or memories covering the

egg bowl? Well it's hard to beat the ATV. I've never expected an

Aaron head coach to come out on an ATV. You know I think one thing that was fun about covering the Egg Bowl too is I think

Will Rogers was a good example of kind of what that rivalry means in that state

because he grew up Potter blue and red like he loved he loved old miss and he comes to state and

I mean you would be hard-pressed to find a guy the last few years that was represented

Mississippi State better than Will Rogers has so he goes from you, being an old miss fan as a kid to being a huge, you know, representation

of Mississippi State.

And I, you know, every time we would talk to him, you know, they would play the game

before the egg bowl usually my first two years

on a beat they they had their FCS foe strategically scheduled for that week

and they played Southern Miss this this past year and they would always be great because you'd finish that game against that FCST

And state would you know destroy them and you get in the oppressor and it becomes very evident that parts of that week were spent preparing for the

egg bowl more so than you know East Tennessee State or whatever they might have

been playing. So you could just see like what that game meant to to Will Rogers

you know the one they lost this past year and you know he

enters a portal the next morning I think it was so I think he knew not only that they lost

the able that that was his final game estate but like the emotions like that he was
