What is a missionary?

It might seem strange to ask, but is every Christian a missionary?

Today's message answers these questions using Paul's description of his own ministry in Romans,

chapter 15.

Terms like gospel and evangelism and conversion, disciple, disciple Megan, what does it mean to be

disciple? What does it mean to make disciples and calling?

I want us to think for the next few minutes

about two terms together, so missionary and missionary team.

And the reason I think these terms are particularly important.

So it's important for me as I lead something called the International Mission Board

and we send out missionaries around the world.

So who are missionaries?

What are missionaries that we're sending out?

But I look at the broader evangelical world

and I see a lot of confusion about this term and even ways that this term is used unhelpfully.
