| 0:22.0 | Before we get into those questions we have a few things to cover firstly for anybody that's coming to cyclic cross nationals you mentioned this before we'll be having an event the night before the pro race that will be Saturday evening before the pro race and we'll be having it here at train road hq so more details to come on that. |
| 0:39.0 | Nate do want to work with job posting so yep still hiring three web engineers and actually we're going to also hire another app engineer so on the app side we use Xamarin and if you're good at Xamarin Xamarin forms iOS Android Mac NPC. |
| 0:56.0 | Apply now at trainer dot com slash jobs yes that's it cool. |
| 1:01.0 | Awesome and then do you also want to something we got sent so for those that don't know if you've been to like target you can you see like every man Jack products I've seen in other places to see what the target all the time really not like toiletries for men and they sponsor a triathlon team and Darren mounts is actually the director of that team. |
| 1:22.0 | And he sent over really cool piece that go other nutrition company did in many documentary on him right yeah just kind of like what a traffic goes through to qualify for Kona and that every man Jack team is probably the fastest non pro team in the world for triathlon I think yeah fast guys yeah it wasn't wasn't this year yeah but the year before I think that the majority it was like over 80% of their team qualify for Kona I think yeah that's really good they're how big a team. |
| 1:47.0 | G's there upwards of 20 guys I think so and if we actually there not this year but the year prior when we're flying to Kona there were a handful them on the plane and all of them just look like in set like everyone looks fit in Kona and it's a great way to feel bad about yourself if you're there because everyone around you is fit and beautiful but these guys are extremely fit and they were like eating like nuts and berries well all of us are eating like crackers and stuff they all brought the wrong food you're right like on the plane they like brought up to put where I'm like here I go eat my food yeah. |
| 2:16.8 | That's dedication and you see that in this video so it's even if you're not a triathlete I like it because it's inspirational anything that makes me kind of like oh yeah I want to train more I like to watch yeah so it's called the other side of fear if you just Google that and probably do goo or every man Jack or triathlon will come up yeah yeah it's an awesome thing I would check it out for sure |
| 2:36.1 | beyond that Nate we have a few things to cover with you you've been racing and the other day we did a tally racing using air quotes we did a tally let's talk about Sacramento first |
| 2:46.4 | because okay because that leads into it that lead that good idea yeah that's real real quick I just did a cross race in Sacramento got smoked really bad |
| 2:56.3 | which category of bees why did you get smoked well they're really good in the bees but one thing but what what what parts of what aspect of performance did you fall |
| 3:05.8 | sure there's a there's a grass course lots of turns okay lose a second every turn it's really hard to stay competitive |
| 3:11.7 | and it's really quick the reason that you would lose a second on a turn is because of the technical prowess perhaps |
| 3:17.6 | that other people might have over you yeah technique and all that stuff is something you're constantly |
| 3:22.7 | working on exactly I got a really bad start this is a really big field of like 25 people and it was |
| 3:29.0 | a extremely fast start in that section on another lap right in spring I hit 30 okay so I had flashbacks |
| 3:35.5 | and it you kind of went from like road paved road and there was a lip or then we'd kind of jump off and |
| 3:42.9 | get air and land on like kind of grass with like holes in it yeah and I just was like no I'm not |
| 3:48.0 | springing that but it also made kind of like you get kind of stuck in a position especially on this |
| 3:53.6 | course it was hard to pass but you know even though I was in the for I started the front I would have |
| 3:58.1 | felt fall back a lock okay yeah and then what what happened so yeah so there's like a log that you |
