It's a sunny day, July 21st, 2021. Almost a year ago, the Gorba family, that would be Jake, his wife, Victoria, and their kids are off-roading in the Sierra National Forest in California.

Had the Shudai Peak, they decided to pause and take a little break in a little meadow.

Jake Gorba pulls his truck over to the side of the

road and they get to work preparing a picnic lunch for the family. As Victoria is preparing the lunches,

she hears their three-year-old son, Caden in the back at the window seat talking. Victoria turns

around to see who Caden's talking to, but Caden is not talking to himself and he's not talking to his

siblings. He's looking out his open window and passed it into this small little miniature meadow

into the forest beyond. He's intently engaging in an intense conversation with somebody outside.

Jake and Victoria, they don't see anyone around. Victoria looks at her son and asks Caden who he's talking to,

and what he would say would make the hairs on her arms stand up

and launch a whole new angle into an ongoing investigation.

Caden looks away from the window into his mother and says,

quote, there's a woman out there, and she needs our help, unquote.

He points out the window.

So again, they look out the window, as parents do, and into the tree line, and they don't see anybody, just empty wilderness.

Caden becomes insistent, and according to Victoria, he says, Mom, you got to trust me, she's right there, she needs our help.

She's lying face down. Her legs are straight up and she's dead, which is an awful thing to hear from the mouth of a three-year-old, by the way.

I'm playing some kind of horrific mangling or something because your legs don't tend to bend that way, right?

Jake jumps out of the car and runs over to the woods to the spot that his son was pointing at to investigate, but there's nothing there.

There's no person there, no dead bodies.

Caden is pointing and assisting that she's right there where Jake is standing.

Jake's looking all around, and he doesn't see anything out of the ordinary,
