It’s even harder under these circumstances. But any contribution, big or small, will go a long way in helping us do all we can to find Nancy and assure the Ng Family that they are not alone. 0:09.7	a friend of several friends who know me outside of the true crime community and reached
0:14.0	out to me asking for my help, for your help, and getting the story out there to as many
0:19.6	ears as possible. Her name is Nancy Ing
0:22.3	and she's from Monterey Park, California. She's 29 years old and went missing on October 19th,
0:27.9	2023, while on a week-long yoga retreat in Guatemala, something that should have been fun and
0:33.8	a break from reality and instead has left her family in a nightmare. So what happened on
0:40.6	October 19th? Well, Nancy and nine other retreat participants embarked on a kayaking trip from the
0:46.8	Santa Cruz side of Lake Atatlan. But only eight people returned to shore and Nancy wasn't among them.
0:56.0	Once Nancy was reported missing,
1:01.0	Guatemalan authorities launched a helicopter search and rescue team along with boats and divers to search the lake for Nancy. But those search efforts ended after only 72 hours, and it left the
1:08.1	family scrambling to search for their missing daughter in a foreign country.
1:12.2	They were pushed forward and hired their own professional boat companies and divers to search
1:16.9	the 12-mile long and 6-mile wide lake on their behalf.
1:21.2	Soon after that, the Black Wolf helicopters join in on the search along with countless
1:26.3	local volunteers. Despite what may seem like
1:29.6	a large search party, it's been difficult, unnecessarily difficult. And that's all because, at least as
1:35.9	the family reports, searchers are left guessing in regards to the exact circumstances and location of
1:42.3	Nancy's disappearance. Due to the failure of key witnesses, many of whom have returned to the U.S. since Nancy's
1:49.0	disappearance to come forward and provide a witness report.
