Hey everybody welcome back to cold case murder mysteries. I'm your host Ryan Kraus and it's a pleasure to be with you once again for

today's very special episode covering a case that is easily the most

requested by listeners of this show the disappearance of Madeline McCann.

For most of us this is a familiar name and a face that rose to stratospheric

fame in the aftermath of a tragic incident where she was allegedly abducted from her parents'

apartment while on vacation in Portugal.

But more than a decade later, we still have no idea what happened to the poor little girl,

aside from the fact she hasn't returned to her family and presumably never will because she's deceased. And it's a case that truly has no dividing line on innocence or guilt.

No gray area where you can dive in and extract the truth. The evidence just doesn't exist. At least, it isn't tangible.

Madeline's body was never found. So is it possible she's alive?

We're going to take a look at that that and a host of other things as well.

But before I jump into the story, I want to stress that my main focus in the analysis of the following events

is to unearth dishonesty from within the choices and actions of the players involved

as the nightmare unfolds. I believe we have multiple omissions and fabrications that would

benefit from greater scrutiny.

So I think the best way to describe this is to say that I'm going to freeze the events and walk you through them as I analyze the nuances of things like plural pronouns, spatial relationships, and magical abstractions of reality that
