Summary

Kristal Reisinger has been missing since July 13, 2016. Kristal relocated to Crestone from Denver to find spiritual enlightenment, solace, and sobriety. It was first believed that Kristal had simply walked away from her life, but in 2018, the Saguache County Sheriff's Office and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation announced that foul play was involved in her disappearance. 0:23.7	And I'm Natalie. 29-year-old Crystal Risinger has been missing since July 13, 2016. Crystal had relocated to
0:32.6	Crestown, Colorado from Denver. She was looking for spiritual enlightenment, solace, and sobriety. She was absolutely
0:40.6	beautiful with big, soulful, crystal blue eyes and an infectious laugh. She worked for Crestone
0:46.5	Brewing Company for a short time and had a small studio apartment in downtown Crestone.
0:51.8	It's in that apartment that Crystal was last seen on July 13, 2016.
0:56.8	However, this is where the timeline gets complicated,
0:59.2	because a few locals report seeing her at a full moon drum circle
1:02.5	on July 18, 2016, in Crestone.
1:06.3	It was believed at first that Crystal had wanted to disappear.
1:09.4	But then, in 2018, the Sawatch County Sheriff's Office and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation
1:14.9	announced that foul play was involved in her disappearance.
1:18.8	This is her story.
1:21.8	You still think it's in my head, but I'm walking with the day.
1:35.4	Crystal was originally born in Phoenix, Arizona.
1:38.9	She was raised in a bit of an unstable home, and when Crystal was 15, her mother suffered a mental breakdown. After her mom's
1:46.0	breakdown, Crystal became a ward of the state. She then relocated to Denver to live with her aunt.
1:52.2	Unfortunately, that living situation wasn't much better and didn't work out. She and her aunt had a
1:57.8	falling out, and Crystal was unfortunately kicked out of her aunt's house.
2:02.0	Crystal's childhood was described by one of her ex-boyfriends as, quote, nightmareish.
2:06.8	But that didn't affect her personality. She was kind, gentle, and affectionate.
