One of the strangest stories you'll probably hear.

And now the FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for anyone who can give them the whereabouts

of where this mother and daughter may be.

A mother and daughter they now think may have been kidnapped, 35-year-old Amberayez,

and her daughter 13-year-old, Melissa Fu.

Police say on November 22nd of 2019, the husband of Amir-I.S says somebody came to the door around 6 p.m.,

two Chinese, or people of Chinese descent, he believed, a man and a woman.

He was sprayed with something and rendered unconscious when he awoke both his wife and stepdaughter were gone.

Now, of course, obviously they looked at him as a suspect.

They say right now they believe everything he's been telling them, and they now believe that the two, the mother and daughter, may have been kidnapped.

They also say that before the mother disappeared,

she made some comments that may have foreshadowed her disappearance.

During the course of our investigation,

we learned that Amber had told several different people in her life

that she felt she was being followed.

She had seen a black Cadillac sedan following her at a place where she sold food in Irvine.

She had mentioned that to her husband, she had mentioned that to her mother, and she had mentioned that to a friend.

She pointed it out.

He saw him.

He really didn't think anything of it,

and they kind of moved on.

So again, the FBI, I'm offering a $10,000 reward
