The much vaunted revenge of Iran came last night when 22 missiles were fired at two Iraqi military bases,

housing US and coalition troops. Despite the dire warnings from the Tehran regime and the predictions of World War III looming,

there were no casualties and no apparent UK personnel were affected either. Donald Trump's response was to tweet out,

all is well, so far so good, as the realisation sunk in that a more dangerous scenario may have been avoided. However, Iran says the attacks are

just the first step, and it may will be that their response to the killing last Friday

of Major General Kasim Soleimani will continue over the next few days. Are you feeling safer

this morning knowing that World War III is probably not actually going to happen?

One piece of collateral damage could well be the crash of a Ukraine international airlines, Boeing 737800,

carrying 176 passengers, which plunged to the ground shortly after take off from Tehran last night.

An investigation is already underway to work out whether it may have been hit by one of the Iranian missiles.
