Today is our NASCAR special. Wait wait wait don't go don't go anywhere it's midweek we will

be back on Sunday for a news show, but I want you to settle in and listen to this.

Give it a chance because I'm going to take you into the heart of a top race team in a top race series with the kind of access that is beyond our

wildest dreams as podcasters in a backwater countryside shed made of wood and love and hard work. It was incredible where we were and I want to take you on a journey with me.

Matt and I were invited to hang out with the president of 2311 NASCAR team and by hang out we were

literally hanging out with the boss of the NASCAR team they took me on a tour of

airspeed we had dinner went to a dive bar with a team principal and got to learn secrets

about F1 that I will never reveal.

I'll tell you all later after the NASCAR show.

And then as for the race Weekend itself, we hung out with

their head of Combs, David Schaefer, who we basically shadowed through the whole

race weekend. Wherever he and the drivers went, we went. It was amazing. So coming up we're going to lead with an interview of their super-style drivers, Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick, in their state-of-the-art hauler, that's Motor Home in Formula One, and then Matt will join us

after that and I'll tell him about my tour of the factory. Then we had a great chat with their

chief strategist who was cool but a mega nerd and he and Matt were so deep into

strategy entire talk on the Sunday that the team boss had to had to tell me to get Matt away from him so that he could do the strategy for the race on the Sunday.

And we speak to their Sim guy and find out how I matched up against the pros. So let's start off with the driver interviews. Here's

me interviewing two legit celebrities on a race weekend. end. and I apologize apologize, hello firstly.

I apologize that having to speak to some random Englishman who doesn't know an awful lot

but hopefully we can educate some of the Miss Apex viewers.
