It looks like, you know, probably half of all of the social science that's done out there is non, you can't replicate it.

Therefore, it's the studies don't show.

So my point in my thread was everyone when they hear such a thing in public discourse

should presumptively doubt it.

The studies show is just a lazy way or has become a lazy way for politicians to avoid argument

It's an appeal to authority of a certain kind should be regarded as suspect.

Not because we're anti-science or cave dwellers,

troglodites, but because it turns out that a lot of the social science,

in fact, probably half of it or maybe even more than half of it is
