So today we are taking the day off from publishing. That's right. So in case you missed our announcement on Monday,

shortwave is temporarily shifting production schedules. We're dropping episodes in your feed four times a week instead of five.

Basically, this allows us to take care of ourselves a little bit better during this pandemic and make sure we're still bringing you that sweet, sweet quality content.

That's right. So from now on, no episode on Wednesdays, which honestly you might need to, because while making a daily podcast is hard, so is keeping up with one.

So many episodes.

In the last year, we have made over 200 shortwave episodes. And I know some of y'all are behind on your listening. No judgment.

But we invite you to poke around in our archive where you can find all sorts of episodes, including ones that explain the science of what's going on today.

Like there's the one from last October about three factors at the heart of why California is at such high risk for wildfires.
