Today we're going to be meeting Kaylee Bush.

Now, she was recently crowned Miss North Florida.

Now, Miss North Florida typically gets to move on to compete in the Miss America pageant, but Kaylee received a contract,

which essentially stipulated that trans identifying individuals would be able to compete against

her in this Miss America competition. She refused to sign that contract, and guess what? She's not

moving forward. So let's watch a video and meet Kaylee ourselves and see what's going on here.

You were looking to compete for Miss America, but then they took your Florida crown off you because you made statements about sort of transgender?

Yes, that is exactly right. I was asked to sign a contract that was different than the first one that I had agreed to

because they had changed it four weeks after I rightly won.

And so I didn't lose my crown because I broke a role.

I lost the crown because I was unwilling to rewrite the truth.
