Welcome to episode four of the Flying Free Podcast. Today I have Rebecca Ferris and we are

going to talk about well we're going to talk about, well, we're going to talk about church.

And Rebecca and I are friends online,

and we were texting one day on Facebook Messenger, and she sent me a link to an article.

It's actually a movie review of the I survived,

I kissed dating goodbye, that's what it's called and she asked me well I'll just

tell you Rebecca both Rebecca and I are first generation homeschoolers. And she was saying, I wonder how many people married and how many women,

girls, married an abuser because of this philosophy.

I did.

So that's what I thought we talked about.

Actually I said, hey, this would make a great podcast episode.

I'd get so here we are we're going to talk about that.

Yeah, so let me tell me a little bit about your experience with that book and and how you met and married your abuser. And by the way

Rebecca is now she was married to her abuser for 17 years. There was a 20 total by the time the divorce was final.

Okay, so, and she is now remarried to a wonderful man who,

we're going to talk a little bit about that too later.
