It's Friday, November 21st. I'm Tara Jean Stevens, and here are this week's headlines

from the Heaven Bent Universe. Alleged groomer's sister spreads misinformation about Heaven Bent. This week, a campaign to

have Mike Bickle returned to public ministry was majorly escalated by his sister.

Mike Bickle, if you need reminding, is the founder and former leader of IHop KC.

And my season four was documenting IHOP right as he was first being accused of grooming and sexual abuse by multiple women.

You know, I just wanted to give you an update over the last three documents, just those alone.

And that is his sister, Lisa Bickle-Stribling, the pastor of Hope City, an inner-city church

in Kansas City.

But over the last few weeks, and really since August, she has not only been proclaiming

her brother's innocence from her pulpit on live streams, but she's also been presenting

her case for this whole thing being part of an evil plot carried out by former leaders, mostly former leaders,

who had made up the primary advocate group.

At the time, we called them the AG.

One of the things that I want to point out is that what we're seeing is that a lot of these guys have made

ministries and podcast and social media names for themselves.

And that's one of the things that has really been disheartening in this whole situation

is to see that take place. And then the other thing is to see that they

used words over and over a victim, predator. You can't ever be in the ministry again. We're afraid.

We now see that these are lies. One of the other things that is really, really important is this,

this was a premeditated attack.

We could see that it was going on some months before they actually came to Mike with it.

And so there are lots of things that we need to talk about and we need to keep uncovering.
