Hello, welcome to ruin. My name is Halley and this is a podcast we ruin a horror movie just for you.

If you're a long time listener, you will know that Alison Livey, my co-host, is currently MIA.

I mean, she's not missing. She's in New York. She's having a fabulous time with her one-woman show.

running at the cherry lane theater currently. But while it is very tragic for her that she can't be here,

we have an excited opportunity to have some guest hosts on. So, draining me this week to Runawhar,

we for you. It is the host of her podcast, Noble Blood and the author of Anatomy, a love story.

It's Dana Schwartz. Hi. Thank you so much for having me. Of course. Thank you for coming on.

I really appreciate it. So, just to set out where are you in terms of like being a horror fan,

can't stand to watch it. Are you like some of them are okay? But for the most part, you're not leaning

towards it. So, there are some horror movies that I absolutely love, but there's like a very narrow

strike zone of movies that I like. Like I like camp. I like like this feel so like, you know,

so I like like I love screen movies. That was great for me. I like drag me to hell, you know.

But I don't like things that I think are actually scary. Like I don't like, I've never seen

the ring and I don't want to see the ring. And it really was one of the first ones we did.

A boy it holds up. It is genuinely especially for a PG-13 horror movie. So terrifying,

terrifying to this day. So, I understand that. I want to have fun. I don't want to actually be

scared. And I don't want to be grossed out. Like I don't want to watch saw movies. That's not my jam.

We did saw recently with a boyfriend in the pod. Now Fiancé in the pod. Dave Schilling.
