I'm your host, Nick Ryan. Let's begin tonight's journey with Amory, who calls their experience the Shadow Man of St. Augustine Lighthouse.

Hey, Nick, I've been an avid listener for some time now and have to say that I love all the work

and effort that you put into each episode. Listening to all these podcasts has made me take a look

into my past and think about all the paranormal or unexplained occurrences that I've experienced.

I have a couple of stories that I would like to share with you today. For a little bit of

background, both of my parents have always been into those paranormal TV

series that recounts people's experiences in reenactments.

So naturally, I grew into liking those types of things.

But back to what we were all here for, my experience.

One year when I was around 12 or 13, my family took a vacation to St. Augustine, Florida, to get away from the cold in Alaska.

Our family did your normal touristy things, like the tours that people can take and learn about the history of the city, walk around the downtown area, and shopping here and there.

One day, my parents took a daytime tour of the St. Augustine Lighthouse. It's an old lighthouse that was built between 1871 and 1874, during Florida's

reconstruction period. Throughout the walk-around of the property, our tour guide taught everyone the

history behind the lighthouse and why it came to be.

After the tour had wrapped up, both my dad and I saw a poster of a ghost tour that the

lighthouse had to offer.

I asked him if we could do it, but he said that that night would not work out.
