And I've got to get organized to move this project forward, or I guess even worse.

You say, I've got an idea for a creative project, and I'll get started someday when I get organized.

That's the worst.

And we're going to talk about both of those predicaments, and just how organization is more than just being tidy,

more than getting the paper off your desk, but really creating the creative freedom that you want.

Hi, thanks so much for having me. Excited to be here.

Well, I felt the urge to clean my desk off before I even talked to you.

But my virtual background is probably hiding the bubbles or speed.

What is it about clutter that we creative people either allow or even embrace sometimes

as being just our creative mess?

Yeah, well, there's a very fine line between inspiration and hindrance, right?

And so it's interesting, especially with creative types, because they do like to have things that spark their curiosity,

or their creative juices to help them bring their thing into creation.

But so often it just gets in the way of actually doing the work.

And what I've read Miriam from you, and I guess even some of your other interviews,

is this, you know, types of clutter.

Yeah, there's that I like to see everything in front of me.
