This episode today is one that I actually use in my classroom. And I said, you know what? I tell this story all the time. Why don't I tell it on the podcast?
1:11.1	So that's what you're getting today. And if you've been a student of mine before, you might know
1:14.5	this case. So it took place in 2006. And it's when 17-year-old Ashley Reeves was a high school student
1:22.4	in the great state of Illinois. Ashley, if you're looking at her, she looks like every high schooler that I see
1:29.5	every day on the job. She wears her hair in a ponytail, but think, you know, think back to the
1:35.0	classic stylings of 2006. She has it up in that ponytail, but she has those two thin little
1:40.7	pieces that we used to pull out and have that went kind of down on the sides of our faces. She has blue eyes, dark brown, dark blondeish hair, kind of a brownish color.
1:51.6	And she has freckles on her nose when you look at her little smile. She has a gap between
1:55.8	her front teeth. Nothing crazy or anything, but she's just a natural girl when you're looking
2:00.4	at her photos.
2:01.3	She's not one to wear a ton of makeup and, you know, maybe some eyeliner or something like that.
2:06.4	I've seen some eye shadow in some of the other pictures, but not a overwhelmingly makeup type of
2:12.1	girl. Her ears were tastefully pierced. She had a couple of piercings that went up her ear.
2:17.0	She wore a small gold
2:18.3	hoop at the bottom of the lobe, and then she had like two studs that went up. The other side,
2:23.9	and remember chokers were in style for a while back then. She liked those two, and so even in
2:28.0	her school picture, she has a choker on. And friends would describe Ashley as funny. She was a fun friend, but she was down to earth
