In this episode, we're talking about the miraculous spiral staircase of the Loretto Chapel

in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I'm Dom Betanelli and joining me today is Jimmy Aiken. Hey Jimmy.

Howdy, Dom. In the 1800s, a group of nuns from Kentucky came to the frontier town of Santa Fe.

The new bishop helped them build a chapel, but a shocking event happened with the architect

and he died before it was completed. The sisters realized he had left no plans for how they could

get from the ground floor to the choir loft of the chapel. So it's reported that they made a

9-day novena to St. Joseph, the patron saint of Carpenters, and on the 9th day, a mysterious

workman showed up and built them in amazing spiral staircase. Well, why is this spiral staircase

amazing? Who built it and could he have been St. Joseph himself? That's what we'll be talking about

on this episode of Jimmy Aiken's mysterious world. Now Jimmy, I understand you recently received
