its very real presence in your life. Maybe I told this story in the show before or not. I'm not

sure. I can't remember. I've told it in other places. But when I was walking through a really bad

I'm heart sick because my hope is deferred. Like you're waiting so long to rescue me from this

Lord. I was like, you know the proverb. What does it say? Oh, my word, it's just leaving me now. Hope deferred makes

the heart sick, but a promise fulfilled is the tree of life. And so I was telling God, I'm heart sick

because my hope has been deferred for so long. And the Lord, in his fatherly way, pressed on my heart and said,

look it up. So I knew I was in trouble. So I looked it up. And the word deferred

is a verb. It's an action word. So it implies kicking the can down the field. You know when you

defer a payment, you go, I don't want to pay that right now. I'm going to, I'll start my payments up a
