So if you recall, Wednesday morning, we had all woken up and learned that we had taken

Georgia, taken the US Senate.

So this episode was recorded before the insurrection attempt, the riot that happened at the United

States Capitol, which is why we on Wednesday night recorded an emergency pod about that.

Because this episode you're about to listen to, was frankly very joyous.

We just felt tonally it didn't really make any sense to air this at the usual time.
