Moving on from Kirk Cousins at this point would have represented a rebuild, to say the least, unless

you're bringing in another veteran quarterback to take his place.

So at this point, the veteran quarterbacks outside of Lamar Jackson remains franchise tagged are spoken for.

And they converted Kirk Cousins' salary,

that threw into a $20 million signing bonus,

and so you're already in for that money.

I don't anticipate that anything changes on that front.

So we'll see.

They can always revisit the contract talks.
