Immigration enforcement agents aren't trained to investigate fraud and randomly stopping people in the street because you don't like their accent isn't going to stop fraud.

So enforcing federal immigration law and fighting fraud are just pretexts for this surge.

The real reason, it's no secret. Donald Trump and his

administration have been targeting people, cities and states that don't agree with them politically.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison there disputing claims by some members of the Trump

administration that federal forces are helping to fight fraud in that

state. Ellison's now leading a lawsuit against the administration over the surge of federal

agents there. The question is, how soon could that suit come before a judge? Plus, some prominent

Republicans are now coming out in support of Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell after the

Justice Department announced a criminal probe into him.

The question is, will they create enough political pressure to get DOJ to drop that investigation?

Also ahead, President Trump is trying to put more pressure on the Iranian government as the

Pentagon's reportedly weighing strike options.

It all comes amid weeks of growing unrest in the country.
