Hello from CNN, I'm Joe Beck, with the five things you need to know for Monday, June 16th.

The suspect accused of shooting two Democratic Minnesota lawmakers has been arrested after a nearly two-day manhunt.

Vance Bolter has been charged with two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder.

Police allege Bolter shot and killed

State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband in their home Saturday morning, and later

shot and wounded State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, who were recovering in hospital.

A manhunt was launched after the attacks, and Brooklyn Park Police Chief said the search

for Bolter took roughly 43 hours.

There's no question that this is the largest manhunt in the state's history.

Just down at the scene where he was taking to custody, there was 20 different SWAT teams

over an extremely large area hunting this individual down to take him

into custody.

An official says they're confident Bolter acted alone, while Minnesota Governor Tim Walz

says the shooting has shocked the state.
