2016 I just stepped out in faith and started doing creative work, photography, videography,

weddings. And I am way more effective at being an unpaid slash part-time involved in ministry

with the way I think, way more effective than I was full-time in ministry. I've had two instances

where I've had six-figure days. What separates me is my security in my identity. Security is the superpower to

whatever it is you are doing. If you don't have the belief to do a thing, you have to either borrow

that belief, you have to build that belief, or you have to buy that belief. What a lot of people see is a

man who prepared himself before he got in front.

I felt the whisper from the Holy Spirit that like you will be in front.

Welcome to the department podcast.

This has been a dream in the making.

I would say I've been wanting to start my own podcast for well over a year,

been dabbling with different names. And the biggest thing I had a struggle with was finding

who my podcast was for. And I didn't want to box myself in. You know, you probably hear me a lot

of the times say like, you got a niche down. You you got to pick a niche and I think that's okay

but when it comes to podcasting although there is you could find a niche with you could find a

generality within a niche and so this podcast is called the department podcast where I will be

interviewing a lot of people that are really good at what they do I'd like to say it like this

I'm interviewing people who are owning it in their department. And I started a company

recently or I transitioned the name to the video department because I own it in the video

department. And so when the idea came, I was like, hey, I think we got it going. And so for the first episode, studies show that people retain information when more than one person talk.

So I needed to invite the people closest to me, which I got my lovely wife, Amanda Eltaquiry.
