For those of you that are visiting, let me just tell you that we don't compare notes and decide what we're going to preach.

We just each do what God lays on our heart, and it's just amazing.

We've seen it hundreds of times that everything fits together, it's supernatural and we believe that God orchestrates that.

So we haven't compared any notes.

But what I really feel impressed to the Lord to do during my portion this week is I'm

just going to be exhorting us to rejoice in the Lord, the power of praise, how to do these things.

Some people think, well, you know, that's just kind of automatic.

But Paul said in Philippians chapter 4, verse 11, he said he had learned to be content.

You know, when you learn something, that means that it's not automatic.

As a matter of fact, I actually believe that the odds are stacked against us having joy.

You know, we live in a corrupted world, and you're ministering and dealing with people.

You know, if you've, those of you that have been in ministry for a while know that there's

wonderful things that go along with ministry, but part of the bad part of ministry is people.

And, but, you know, people are also the great reward that's involved in it.

But I can guarantee you, if you've been in ministry for a while, somebody's been on your case. And there's just something that happens, and people criticize

you. If you went out and started a bar in your town, you could probably join the Kwanis Club,

the Lions Club, be one of the respected leaders. You could run for public office, and people

would embrace you and give you mercy

and grace.
