Hello and welcome to another set of the Once in Future Nerd minisodes.

For those of you unsure of what you are about to hear, we are currently in-between chapters of the main plot of the show.

Today what you will hear are two scripted minisodes, vignettes occurring in-world, but not necessarily synchronously with the current plot of the main show.

But before we get to those, we have a couple of quick announcements.

First, we just held our end of chapter Ask the Once Infuture Nerd Q&A live stream.

It was a lot of fun, and audio from that live stream will be hitting the main podcast feed on October 30th.

So please keep an eye out for that.

Secondly, as we've mentioned earlier, in November, you will be hearing some additional bonus content instead of a main plot episode,

and in December we will be off for the winter holiday season. But chapter 9 will return in

January, 2023, with part one of chapter 9, which will be titled A Handful of Bodyguards.

We're really excited to bring you this chapter. But now, first what you are about to hear

is a minisode entitled Dear Uncle, written by our guest writer O. Carciente

and performed by our own Paul Notice, reprising the role as Antonin and Mooncrest.

This minisode is set during the course of book one of the main plot of the show.
