and intentional. I'm your host, Claire, and I'm so glad you're here. I am over the moon to announce that the Catholic feminist pilgrimage in France is taking place in October 2020 and I want you to join us.

Okay, I have to tell you a little bit about how this came about because it's kind of crazy.

You guys have heard me say on this show before that I'm not the biggest international traveler,

and that is true. But about a year ago I read the food

memoir Lunch in Paris. I don't know if anyone's ever read that but it is like the

sweetest book ever and I felt on this rabbit hole of French books. I started reading

Paris and Love and bringing up Bebei and I just kept reading all these books about

France and I started to feel a real pull on my heart towards the country of France

which is a little crazy because I have no connection to it and I have never

previously been one of those girls who's like obsessed with Paris but my family went to

Poland in August and we had talked about maybe we can like take on another little

mini trip to somewhere in Europe with the kids as a vacation but just for plenty of reasons mostly timing it didn't work out

Then select international tours who the podcast has partnered with this year reached out and asked if I had ever considered

going on a pilgrimage to see some places of amazing women saints in France.

And it felt like a total God thing you guys like France had been on my heart

for God only knows why and then here is this company saying look we're gonna plan

this whole pilgrimage if you want to go on it. But I have to be honest, I did not say

yes at first. I was really nervous about a few things. I mean the first was that it's for 11 days and I have two really small

kids who I take care of all the time. I mean I have one or two mornings of

child care a week. The rest of the time I am full on mom life. And another one was that like I mentioned
