Summary

This minisode is a sister to our last one about bookshops - this month, we're talking about libraries. We love libraries! Those other places where you can go to get your hands on the books you want, the books you don’t yet know you want, the books that want you, and everything in between. Listen in for stories of the libraries and librarians that shaped us, our favourite libraries around the world, libraries in books and movies (Giles from Buffy gets an honourable mention) plus all the usual cultural recommendations. We are also about to launch another sale of our gorgeous, sturdy LF tote bags on Etsy in the next week or so, and there will be a special discount for Patrons. Keep your eyes on our socials for more info!

0:39.9

Yeah, I'm good. I'm healthy, finally, and I'm full of spring. So yeah, I can't complain really.

0:46.6

How are you? I mean the same. Finally healthy. Although I have to say I've got 409 unread emails

in my inbox and it's making me feel bad.

0:57.2

But that aside and bearing in mind that inbox zero is just not an attainable goal for me.

1:04.0

I'm accepting it.

1:05.1

Nor is it a healthy goal, as Oliver Berkman says in 4,000 weeks.

1:09.9

It's literally a distraction from the important stuff of life.

1:14.2

Thank God for you. Thank God for Oliver Berkman. I'm good. My inbox is bad. That's how things are.

players and playwrights. And you also have a chance to suggest themes.

1:44.4

That was a theme suggested by one of our patrons. Our patron, Diane, recommended that theme.

1:48.7

Yes, thank you, Diane. Also, a quick reminder about merch. We've made another run of our
