Hello ladies, I very recently discovered your podcast and I'm completely addicted, having

binged 15 episodes in two and a half days. Oh my God, I'm so flattered. That's a lot of

listening to my voice. Now, I'm currently in

the middle of writing a book about the long-term real-life consequences of the Mormon church's

positions and policies on LGBTQ humans. So your podcast is just like a hug for my sad, damaged soul.

However, the real reason for contacting you is that I just listened to episode 14.

Bishops should stop asking children's sexually explicit questions.

And I wanted to share a story I was told by my mother when I was a teenager.

When she was 11 or 12 years old in 1970, she was sexually abused by her Sunday school teacher

multiple times in his home when she would babysit for his children. She is from a very small town in Utah.

One day, his wife pulled her aside roughly and put her finger right in my mother's face and

said, I know what you did with my husband and you're a dirty little girl. Now, my mother was the fifth of seven children.

She was a super late bloomer.

She said she wore her hair in two braids.
