tale from a listener of ours that lives in Casper, Wyoming of an event that happened there in her town, be it before she was born, but still an event that happened there.

Hi, Nicole.

Hey!

So we'll go ahead and jump on in here. I will be reading the story as Nicole. I know that seems a bit weird. Can I pass as a Nicole? Mary's a giggle.

I just have the giggles again. Mary totally has the giggles. So yeah, this is a horrific story and if Mary's

giggling you feel free to judge her oh my god all right I'm gonna go and jump in

reading this verbatim as Nicole sent it to me.

I grew up in Casper, Wyoming.

I was born in 1992, so I wasn't alive when this whole nightmare happened, but I was raised

with the story and my dad personally knew the family. On September 24th 1973, 18-year-old

Becky Thompson and 11-year-old half-sister Amy Burrage drove over to the

small gas station, went in to get some stuff but when they came back out to the small gas station, went in to get some stuff, but when they came back out to their

car, one of the tires was slashed.

Two guys kindly offered to help them.

Yeah, they were not actually going to help them.

Basically, the guys ended up fixing the tire and

then forcing the two girls into their car.

The two men Jerry Jenkins and Ronald Kennedy drove the girls up to Casper Mountain and tortured the two girls at Lookout Point, which is basically a makeout point where high schoolers went and still go to this day.

The torture contended all night and into the early morning, ending at Alkova Lake about 36 miles outside of town.
