Hey guys, welcome to not some moly Mormon podcast, little mini-sode here for you.

I got a great email. Actually, all of your emails are fantastic. We love them all and Sarah and I are working towards

replying to all of you guys but and I'm also working on getting them recorded so we

can share them. This one is really cool. It's written in more of a story format so I will

just get into reading it for you guys. It's called We Were Afraid.

They taught us a lot of things, but the thing they taught us best was fear. And we were afraid,

so afraid. But it took a while to realize we were afraid of all the wrong things.

We were taught to be scared of the natural man. The natural man is an enemy to God after all.

So we took who we were to God and pleaded with him to change us. Please God, make us different. We came to this earth

broken and bad, pleading for help to become something else. They taught us to fear knowledge.

Any knowledge that did not come from them was a sin before God. Our minds and our curiosities

were part of that whole natural man thing and needed to be stamped out.

We learned what questions we were allowed to ask and what ones to shove deep down.

No one had to directly teach us this. It was already ingrained into the narrative so early on.

They told us that they have all the information and knowledge we need

anyway. If they don't have the answer, then just have faith. We don't have our spiritual eyes yet.

It will make sense when we die. So we read the books they approved and searched for answers in

their scriptures. We were told that God wants

us to learn because knowledge is the only thing we can take with us to the afterlife. But don't

even think about learning something they don't want you to learn. If you do that, then the devil will

take over you. So we never dared venture out of their box because the adversary would definitely get us if we

did, and we were afraid. We put feelings before facts. We were so careful on the internet. We didn't
