So I just wanted to record a very short version of scoop for you to give you the lay of the land for the week ahead. What stories to have on your radar? So let's go ahead and just map out the week that's in front of us. We're going to start this week with our eyes focused on the Middle East, and that's because we're watching news from there. You have Ukrainian representatives, U.S. negotiators, Russian officials on meeting in Saudi Arabia to try to negotiate some sort of

potential ceasefire. Though it's worth pointing out that we have some new bombing by Russia in

Ukraine. The previous ceasefire that was described to us last week sort of in loose terms,

apparently was only focused on infrastructure, and that did not include targeting residential

buildings where innocent

people live. And this gives us an idea of the complexities of these issues that these different

parties are trying to work out. So bombing is continuing by Russia into Ukraine, and you have these

ongoing negotiations taking place in Saudi Arabia. So we'll watch for news on that.

In the meantime, also, we want to keep our eyes on what's happening between Israel and Hamas and Gaza,

because what once appeared moving in the right direction, now risks looking derailed.

We had a ceasefire there. We had a hostage

exchange happening. There was some sort of deal that was worked out for several weeks, and now

the way forward sort of hangs in the balance. One of the most overlooked stories is the way that

Israelis have reacted to the war. You know, you do have domestic political issues at hand, too. It's not just

about what's happening between Israel and Hamas. And it's worth pointing out, though, that protests have

been really active in Israel, really since the terrorist attacks of October 7th for a myriad of
