We talk a lot about homesteading, permaculture, we've gone into all aspects of things, all

different types of livestock, from backyard and small livestock, we've done shows on

rotational grazing, raising cows, raising sheep for lamb, we've done everything you can

think of, we've talked about aquatics and aquaponics and aquaculture, we've talked about poultry,

we've talked about growing trees and orcharding and farming and small scale farming, like

all across the board, and it's important that we do that because that way people pick

and choose the things that will work for them in their life, and we have people that are homesteading

anywhere from a small tenth of an acre, a lot in the suburbs, up to thousands of acres of land

that is being more ranched than homesteaded in some ways. But in the end, what happens is a lot of

people get really overwhelmed, and a lot of folks start to feel like I'll never be able to do this,

it's too much to learn, it's too much to do, and the reality is kind of the way that I grew up

is even more than we're talking about today, because we had about a quarter of an acre garden and

we did grow it, metric butt tum of ton of food, really feeding our family and several others,

but when I think through the most basics of it, and I think more of my fraternal grandparents now,

but I think more of my maternal grandparents, what they do is a lot more like what we're going to
