why you need it, why you don't need it, and how to raise it.

The first thing is, is a lot of people use the words faction and reputation

somewhat interchangeably.

So I'm going to define reputation and faction and

how I'm going to be using them in this podcast. Faction is a group of people representing a set of interests.

Horde is a faction.

Alliance is a faction.

So is Steamwheel Cartel, Thorium Brotherhood.

Reputation is a numerical value

which represents your standing with that faction.

If you have a very low reputation number. with that

faction. If you have a very low reputation number, you are not going to be very

well liked by them. If you have a much higher reputation

number, you're going to be able to do more with them and have them do more for you.

There are several reputation levels and ranges of numbers that determine how that faction

will interact with you.

The first two reputation levels are hated and hostile. These are K-O-S or Kill On Sight.
