0:08.0

and talking about what we've been up to. My name is Ben Pearson. I'm an editor at slash film dot com and I'm joined on today's episode by

slash film editor and chief film critic Chris Evangelista.

0:18.0

Hello. All right Chris let's get into it what What have you been watching recently?

0:23.3

Okay, let's see. I have to open this document, which I accidentally closed.

0:27.8

Okay. So, I saw the Flash, which is of course the latest DC, whatever they're calling it now, movie,

0:38.0

and it's not doing well at the box office.

0:40.7

And there was a lot of hype going into this and most of the hype was coming from the folks at

1:21.6

where they're constantly talking and and being like you know just like a motor mouth

1:28.0

but I didn't hate it I don't think it's very good I don't think I'll like ever really want to revisit it but I don't think it's as bad as some people are making it out to be.

1:37.0

Yes, there are some pretty wonky visual effects in there that distract me,

1:44.0

distract me especially at the end, but, you know, it's,

1:47.5

I think it's like an okay movie.

1:50.0

It's like the definition of like this is okay.

1:53.0

Yeah, I think one of the things you said that you were looking forward to was that it was a movie that doesn't seem to be overly concerned with like setting up a ton of other movies.

2:03.0

So did you appreciate that when you saw it,
