Hey everyone so I am coming at you from our almost empty apartment. We are moving into our new home tomorrow and there's such a whirlwind of shifting and changing and energy happening and I'm just feeling really grateful for everything that's been coming up and just being able to, I don't know, find new ways to take care of myself through such shifts that are going on.

So I wrote a newsletter today and I wanted to share some of my summer self-care intentions with you

Recently I made a list of what self-care could look like for me this season.

I have to admit I haven't been doing the best job at leaning in

and showing up for myself because I have been so busy, but what I realized recently is that being busy isn't an excuse for not showing up for self.

So here's 10 things that I intend to do over the summer that helps me move forward in my

self-care practice.

The first thing is penciling myself into my calendar, even if it's just for 15 minutes.

If I can make time for a meeting, for a phone call, for X, Y, and Z, then I can also make time for

self-care. The next thing I have on this list is my stop drop

and self-care alarm. So this helps me reconnect with my breath for at least five

minutes. I have the alarm set for 1130 and when it goes off I stop

drop and self-care. I know that that sounds really silly but it has helped in the past and it's also a tool

that I give my coaching clients when they're looking for ways to implement easier self-care.

So I am taking my own advice of course disclaimer do not stop dropping
