They're revealing new poll out of the state of California about exactly how they feel

0:04.8

not only about President Biden, but about California native Kamala Harris, current vice

0:10.0

president, let's go ahead and put this up on the screen.

0:12.4

So this poll finds that Kamala Harris, if Biden doesn't run for president, she would trail

0:18.8

in the polls in California, behind both current governor Gavin Newsom and Bernie Sanders

0:25.9

for the 2024 nomination. And Bernie is ruled out running if Biden is running, but has left

0:31.2

the door open if he's not running. Gavin Newsom is obviously jumping at the bit to run

0:36.8

for president and positioning himself to do that. I think, you know, also if Biden doesn't

0:42.2

run, the number specifically our Newsom would get 25 percent in terms of first choice. Bernie

0:48.8

Sanders would get 18 percent. Kamala would be 18 percent as well and then peat at 13 percent.

0:55.8

They say that Harris trails fellow California Newsom 54 and Sanders 80, the two-time presidential

1:00.7

candidate, Newsom and Sanders each ranked as the top choice of 13 percent of respondents.

1:05.9

So I think what they're doing here is they combine a first and second choice and that's

1:09.6

where Bernie and Kamala are tied with first and second choice. But if you're just looking

1:13.6

at first choice, Newsom and Sanders are actually tied at 13 percent. So that's why that's

1:18.8

a little bit confusing. Also in this poll though, Californians not feeling another Biden

1:24.6

term. Six and ten respondents are against Biden trying for a second term in 2024. So pretty

1:33.0

damning of both Biden and Harris here ultimately.

1:36.0

Yeah, I just think it's absolutely hilarious because when you see how she is losing by seven

1:41.9

points in her own home state to the governor, as she is the actual chosen successor of the

1:48.8

president of the United States who is the leader of the Democratic Party and she can't

1:53.1

even come in first, let alone tied for third. It's humiliating.
