Welcome back to a mini pod, a mini buckai talk,

and I know that is practically an oxymoron a mini Buckeye talk in the land where we do two and a half hour podcast but I'm Doug Le

Maurice with Stephen Means and Nathan Baird.

We're going to try this as long as all this stuff is going on

to drop a couple extras during the week.

We'll still have the regular buck I talk every Wednesday,

but I think maybe the plan is try to drop a mini-pod on Mondays and

Fridays. So this is the Friday mini-pod and we do have some news. Stephen, D.J. Carton, Ohio State basketball,

freshman is officially gone. We'll get into a couple

football questions and a little bit of our bracket, favorite modern football buck-eye bracket talk

later. But this is actual news for the program but not a surprise right Stephen yeah

this was since he's left the team after the Northwestern game this is something

that was a long time coming you can say he hasn't been back with

a team even though he was back on campus as basically a regular student there was a

very strict protocol here to follow for him to even get back to even practicing or even

being around the team and at that point it just seemed like this is where things were headed where

he was eventually going to put his name and transfer portal.

So this is to no surprise that a guy who when he got here was

NBA potential at some point whether that was two or three years you thought this was a
