This is just a little quick update, a little quick mini episode, letting you know what I've

been up to the summer, why there hasn't been an episode in a couple of weeks.

I think the last episode that I did was at the end of June.

And the reason for that is I am just taking a little bit of a hiatus this summer.

Just taking a couple weeks off. I'm refocusing my energy. I'm currently working on my ninth book,

which is really exciting. And you guys, you're going to freak out. It's a topic that I know you want to hear about,

and it's something that I am so passionate about talking about.

So it's coming soon.

And if you are, I'll give you a little hint.

If you are an entrepreneur who is sick and tired of playing by the rules

and wants to do things her way and blaze her own trail, this book is going to be for you. It's sort of like a follow-up to Girl Code, which is about to celebrate its fourth anniversary this month, which is also really cool. But it's like an evolved version of Girl Code. I know you're going to love it. I'm not going to share more. I don't want to ruin anything, but we have the title. We're working on the cover, and I'm self-publishing this one. Speaking of self-publishing, I shared on my Instagram and my newsletter the other day that I just found out that I have earned half a million dollars self-publishing my own books to date since my first book in 2012.

So over the past couple of years, I've earned half a million dollars.

And the reason why I'm sharing this with you is because if you're not familiar with my publishing story, I'll kind of recap a little bit.

I always dreamed of being an author.

To me, that was what I wanted to do my entire life in the second grade.

I wrote a book that I titled The Cat Who Couldn't Fit In.

Okay?

It was made of like cardboard and felt.

It was like my mom still has it.
