Summary

Laziness is something we all deal with. It’s the thing holding us back from better routines, sleep, sex, and so much more. But what do we do with laziness? How do we face it? We surrender. This doesn't mean that we let laziness take hold (although that may be what we are already doing).  This episode takes a deep dive into overcoming laziness and takes a non-traditional approach that steers clear of the “just get off your ass and do it” personal development mantra. 0:05.5

laziness and discuss a little bit about when surrendering becomes complacency, which ties into it,

0:12.0

and also talk about how to overcome laziness by leveraging surrendering. Now, that's a little bit

0:17.3

maybe backwards from what you would normally think, but stick with me and find out

0:21.8

why it is powerful. This has been one of the, one of the most profound tools that I've used within my

0:28.5

own life to create change, to overcome laziness. Because listen, I was a lazy kid. I mean, I was not very

0:37.0

good in academics. I didn't study. I was like the last

0:40.7

minute guy, you know, that was creating the project to trying to finish the essay last minute.

0:46.7

And I've been like that for a very long time. My family used to joke around that there's some

0:52.9

like, you know, morbidly obese fat guy living

0:56.4

within me because of the amount of food that I eat and the fact that I just have a propensity

1:01.2

to sit around and really do nothing. And yet I have managed to have a very successful career

1:07.5

and build an incredible business and really push through all of those

1:12.2

parts and it doesn't mean that those parts have entirely gone away it doesn't mean that they vanished

1:17.0

it simply means that i have much more awareness of what is there so we're going to talk about how

1:22.3

to move through and overcome laziness but first let's just take care of some housekeeping notes.

So for all of the people that have joined,

the course that Vienna and I put out,

get the love you want.

Thank you so much for tuning in

and being a part of the program.
