Let's dive in for today's Living Happy Minute. God is always on your side. I seem to suffer

from short-term memory loss when it comes to remembering God's faithfulness in my life. Despite the

countless times, I've agonized over my circumstances, I've waited on him to move, and I've watched

an amazement as he's provided for me time and time again.

When life seems unsteady, my first response isn't typically to trust God, but instead to question

what he's up to.

Have you ever experienced this too?

I can't be the only one.

When our little world is rocked, we're so quick to point to the wind and the waves, but to disregard the one who speaks peace to them both.

It's so easy to forget that God is with us, that He is for us, and that he has, is, and always will work everything together for our good.

In Romans 828, the Apostle Paul says, we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

This means that despite what our present circumstances might say to us, and despite the anxiety of our own hearts, our God is with us, he is for us.

I don't know about you, but this makes me want to go walk on some

water. Even when it feels as if our lives are far removed from his purposes, nothing is outside of his

reach. Our God remains faithful to us every single time. So here's what I want you to do today.

Here's your action step. Spend some time thanking God

for his good purposes in you. And as you pray, just record the times that you can remember his

faithfulness to you. We need to be continually stacking up our own stones of remembrance,

because it'll help us remember that God is always on our side.
