Summary

Political issues. If you're like most people, you're tired of hearing about them. But here’s the catch, many of the issues we see in the political arena today aren’t about our political opinions, or who we vote for at the voting box, they are about moral problems, beliefs, and what is morally acceptable. In this episode Connor looks at why people have such a hard time differentiating between moral and political issues, how to address these conversations, and why this is such a crucial distinction. 1:13.4

aren't actually political issues.

1:16.1

They are being branded as political issues, but the issues that we're facing are moral ones,

1:21.3

and there's a big distinction.

1:23.5

And one of the main issues with this is that a lot of people don't necessarily know how to address moral problems.

1:33.8

So I'm going to get into that in a second.

1:35.5

And I'll give you some examples.

1:36.9

1:50.9

After Trump got elected, however, there was this really interesting thing where politics would come up in the group.

1:58.8

And the conversation would immediately move from being respectful

2:03.3

to something that was disrespectful there was name calling you know people are acting like

2:09.3
