Two of our awesome listeners, Brooklyn and Alicia, have started a fundraising

campaign and I wanted to help them get the word out. You might have seen the Happy Birthday

Lin Manuel Miranda account on social media and that's all them. They're trying to raise money

for Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS while

celebrating Lynn's birthday on January 16th. They have amazing things to bid on and

you know what I'll let Alicia tell it.

Hey everyone I'm Alicia and I along with my teammate Brooklyn head up the happy birthday

Lynn Manuel Miranda fundraiser.

For Lynn's birthday, we're in the process of raising $37,000 for Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS.

Brooklyn originally had the idea because we were thinking of a special way fans could do something

for his birthday.

As of now, we're a little over $1,000 so we could really use your help.

To encourage you guys to donate, we've been holding weekly Facebook live events where we raffle

off tons of merchandise and fan-made work associated with Lynn and his works.

To give you a little idea, our first week we had a Hamilton raffle and we gave away the

Mix Tape and Lynn's Hamilton book. So how do you enter? Every $5 donation you make to our

fundraising page you get a hundred tickets and you can donate as much as you want.

For your tickets to count though you must be watching the live

feed on our Facebook page Thursdays at 6 p.m. Central Standard time. There's more
