Let's start out with a pretty big true crime news story from this week and that is that

Opening arguments for the Robert Durst trial have begun. Ooh

This these opening arguments began Wednesday in Los Angeles. This is

the Robert Durst trial for the murder of

Susan Burman and

The opening statement brought by the prosecution. They brought up the 1982 disappearance of Durst wife Kathy

Ooh, so they brought that up in their statements

Deputy District Attorney John Lewin said quote

For any of you who've ever watched the sopranos the Pine Barons were famous the soil at the Pine Barons is sand

It doesn't freeze so if you kill somebody in the middle of winter you need to have sand you can dig into

This is a notorious mafia burial ground

so that's where

They're saying that Kathy is buried the wife the wife and evidence

Presented at this trial is going to include phone records that prove that Kathy was buried there

Ooh, and he's like likening this whole thing to the sopranos. I love it to add another Hollywood twist
